WORLDWIDE SERVICE NOW DELIVERED FROM SINGLE NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER
IN US

PocketMail reports more than 1 million e-mails successfully sent and
received by its Australian customers in first few days of operation.

PocketMail Group Limited (ASX: PKT), leading worldwide provider of
affordable mobile e-mail services, today (Monday 24 February 2003)
announced that it had successfully implemented new global networking
technology.

All PocketMail customers are now serviced from a single Network
Operations Center ("NOC") in the US.

Already, more than 1 million e-mail have been sent and received by
PocketMail's Australian customers in the first few days of operation.

The implementation of PocketMail's new global networking technology
will enable the company to:

* Introduce the PocketMail service to new geographic markets quickly
and without the need for significant capital expenditure;
* Implement global roaming for PocketMail's worldwide customers; and
* Close its Network Operations Center in Sydney, Australia, and
reduce overall costs;

PKT Chief Executive Officer, David Marchant, commented:

"In successfully transitioning our entire Australian customer base to
our new global networking technology, we have been able to
conclusively prove our technology.

Next month, we will be implementing global roaming for our worldwide
customer base.

Shortly after, we will also be announcing plans to launch the
PocketMail service into new geographical markets.

Our new networking technology gives us a huge competitive advantage
in the provision of mobile email in that we do not need to invest in
expensive local infrastructure."
