Windowslink - PMU Not Responding Correctly

This means that the device and the PC can actually communicate. However, it also means that they are not communicating correctly.

The most common reason for this is that the baud rate on the PC differs to the baud rate on the device. Check the baud rate on the PC and try changing it to 19200 for best results. Then check the baud rate on the Device and change it to 19200 as well and make sure it is in "ready to receive" mode and try to synchronize again.

If it is not successful after you have checked the baud rates on the PC and the device, check all the connections between the computer, cable and the device. Sometimes the cord may only be half way into the device and it can communicate with the pc but cannot have a continual transmission with it. Unplug the cord from the back of the computer and the PocketMail device as well. Once you have done this plug everything back in and try to syncrhonize once more.
